Spring has returned.
The Earth is like a child that knows poems.
~Rainer Maria Rilke
With such a beautiful Spring in our midst, and with so many creative projects to tend to lately, I have been quite remiss at keeping our blog up to date, so apologies for that!
Cowgirl is growing up SO beautifully ... I have frequent moments when I look at her in such awe and my heart, in those instances, just swells with love and pride. And deep respect for my child.
Cowgirl is at that magical age between 4 and 5 ... still frequently a wee child, with a soul still so new on this earth. Still discovering SO much for the first time. Still needing her mama most minutes of the day.
And other times, balancing that wee child, I so often observe a stunning little girl - with beauty glowing from inside her spirit to match her outward radiance. And I am reminded in those moments that many hearts, indeed, will be broken (though not intentionally), by this gorgeous spirit who is my daughter.
Cowgirl is loved by so many and she is adored at her school by children in all years. And I suppose that shouldn't surprise me, really. Because if her nurturing spirit and continually growing circle of friends is any measure of her future relationships and quality of life ... then we can rest contented as her parents.
Despite the challenges that she had to face when she came to this life, Cowgirl's world, today, tells a very happy story. We are blessed, indeed.
